A recent speaker at the CSDA was Ron Murray, physical therapist, a doctor of naturopathy, and a doctor of integrative medicine. At his website, he has posted some of his writings that help explain his healing work to reverse structural damage to tissues.

Walkathon in May

Jennifer Parker, who was ill for 7 plus years from toxic mold and carbon monoxide started The Jennifer Parker Foundation, Inc. They are planning a national event WALKATHON ACROSS AMERICA FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ILLNESS/MCS on May 5th 2013 so far they have 13 walkathons planned. The October speaker at the CSDA meeting was Bob Sheff, M.D., a retired clinician who has been working with individual patients to overcome the barriers they encounter in obtaining the health care they need. Dr. Sheff has taken those experiences and published a book, The Medical Mentor, to teach patients how to become their own patient advocates. He has made frequent television appearances as well as speaking to a wide variety of audiences across the country on this topic.

Electromagnetic Pollution discussed

Last month's CSDA meeting featured Alyse Shockey of HH Wellness and Rebecca Hanna of Maryland Smart Meter Awareness will be giving an educational presentation. We discussed both obvious and hidden sources of electromagnetic pollution in our current environment.

CSDA's January speaker was Dr. Sammy Noumbissi, DDS. Larry reported that he gave "one of the most enlightening talks I have ever heard about rational, non-toxic dentistry." Dr. Noumbissi studied at Montreal University, Howard University School of Dentistry, and did post graduate work at Loma Linda University, and earned a Masters of Science in Implant Surgery. Alan R. Vinitsky, MD to Address CSDA in Baltimore area.

The Nov. 19 (2011) meeting of CSDA will feature Dr. Alan R. Vinitsky speaking on "New Horizons in Repair and Healing." Dr. Vinitsky is especially interested in the Autonomic Nervous System, preventing and curing chronic illnesses, mold exposures, Lyme disease and co-infections, thyroid disorders, Autism, ADD & ADHD, sports, nutrition, behavioral conditions, and growth and development. Dr. Vinitsky is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.
