Mosquito Spraying in Maryland

Community lists for mosquito spraying in Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Harford, and Prince George's Counties have been posted on the mda.maryland.gov site. The nights that the scheduled spraying will occur if conditions and mosquito counts are right are included. Spraying has started in Anne Arundel, Harford and Prince George's Counties.

Baltimore County has not started yet. I

Walkathon in May

Jennifer Parker, who was ill for 7 plus years from toxic mold and carbon monoxide started The Jennifer Parker Foundation, Inc. They are planning a national event WALKATHON ACROSS AMERICA FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ILLNESS/MCS on May 5th 2013 so far they have 13 walkathons planned. The October speaker at the CSDA meeting was Bob Sheff, M.D., a retired clinician who has been working with individual patients to overcome the barriers they encounter in obtaining the health care they need. Dr. Sheff has taken those experiences and published a book, The Medical Mentor, to teach patients how to become their own patient advocates. He has made frequent television appearances as well as speaking to a wide variety of audiences across the country on this topic.
